Garrison vs Reinforcing

What's the difference between sending a Garisson and sending reinforcements?

Important to note:
• Only people in your guild can send either. If you or your guildmate leave the guild, the troops will return home.
• If you port or reshield, the troops will return home.
• Sending troops to a guildmate will activate battle fury.
• You cannot shield while your troops are in a guildmate's castle.

On the surface, they might seem like the same thing: someone sends troops to a guildmate. But once they arrive, they do different things.

Reinforcements

Reinforcements go into the embassy. As you upgrade your embassy, you can hold more allies. For some reason unknown to me, you cannot see who is reinforcing you. Only that you have reinforcements.

Reinforcements act like they're part of your troops now. Don't let the word deploy throw you off. That means you must have an embassy in order to send someone else reinforcenents. You cannot control allied troops other than to dismiss them. They add to your troops on your Turf.

If you have a shield activated, they will be safe until the shield runs out. Remember: if you activate a new shield, they will be sent home.

If you get attacked, they will fight as if they were your own troops. They will use your stationed heroes, your research, your gear, and your boosts.  But when you read the battle report, each guildmate that is reinforcing you will be broken out by name on the second page.

Garrisons

Garrisons set up their own little tent outside your castle wall. As the image suggests, these troops are outside your castle. It's like a mini castle from your guildmate. It can hold up to 5 heroes and as many troops as the one garrisoning can send in a single march.

It uses the stats from the player who is garrisoning you and basically has nothing to do with you. Any attack will hit that first. If the garrison wins the battle, the attacker is repelled and will never even hit your castle. If the garrison gets zeroed, then the attack will continue through to your castle.

Garrisons can sometimes help if the castle being attacked is very weak and actually needs to not get hit or if the garrison is set to just be a roadblock to weaken the attack by sending only a handful of troops and definitely not the leader.

Darknest Rallies

T's Ultimate Darknest Rally Guide Victory over a Darknest isn't just about how many troops you send at it. It's about which troops and why. Sure, you might be able to beat it by just throwing a ton of troops at it, but you'll end up with more wounded than necessary. Why Do Darknest Rallies? It's basically free loot. Random, but you don't need to do much for it other than hold the rally correctly and heal some troops. Troops sent to a Darknest will never die unless you don't have room in your Infirmary. There are 5 grades of essence just like gear and heroes and... well, pretty much everything. The grade goes up with the Darknest levels. Level 1 nests give you common up through level 5 nests giving you legendary. Theoretically, the higher the essence, the better the loot. I say theoretically because sometimes you cook an epic one for 12 hours and still get something useless to you and other times you do a common one and get something you need

Heros: Types, Grades, Levels, & Ranks

There are four different types of characteristics that are important determining factors of various aspects of a hero. - Attribute type determines which basic attribute increases ATK. - Grade determines the boost percentage of the Battle Skills. - Level determines the amounts for the Hero Skill bonuses and the ability to equip Trophies. - Rank unlocks Battle and Hero Skills and Trophies affect the hero's statistics. For monster hunting, hero stages, and the Colosseum, heroes with a higher level and rank tend to be more important than heroes with a higher grade. Grade does also add to their statistics, so a higher grade is better than a lower grade, but in general, grade is not a huge factor for anything but their Battle Skill %. The opposite is also true. If you're looking at Battle Skills, a hero with a higher grade will be more effective than a hero at a higher level or rank. Rank does increase command, which will ultimately give you more troops and a hero with
