Hunting Hero Testing Process

I'm (very slowly) working on testing the free hero teams for hunting. So far, only Hardrox is complete. This is my testing process.

The Heroes
All of my free heroes are Legendary (gold), level 60, rank 8, and have all available trophies.

The Combinations
I identified each of the possible combinations for the type of heroes the monster is weak to. For monsters weak to magic, that's 21 combos.

Phase One
For each combo, I hit 5 monsters of the same level - only monsters at 100% - wearing my monster hunting gear.

I made sure not to upgrade my gear at all until phase one was complete. Different monsters may have different gear then other monsters for phase one, but all of phase one for each monster was completed using exactly the same gear.

I recorded only the first hit's percent of damage. The phase one score is an average of all 5 hits. And, yes. I hit 105 monsters to get the score for each combo.

Phase Two
The top 5 teams move on to phase two.

Phase two is exactly the same as phase one with the exception of gear. Phase two has no hunting gear at all. 5 teams, 25 monsters at 100%, only recording the first hit, average of those 5 hits is the score.

Final Score
The top team is determined by averaging the averages of phase one and phase two.

Darknest Rallies

T's Ultimate Darknest Rally Guide Victory over a Darknest isn't just about how many troops you send at it. It's about which troops and why. Sure, you might be able to beat it by just throwing a ton of troops at it, but you'll end up with more wounded than necessary. Why Do Darknest Rallies? It's basically free loot. Random, but you don't need to do much for it other than hold the rally correctly and heal some troops. Troops sent to a Darknest will never die unless you don't have room in your Infirmary. There are 5 grades of essence just like gear and heroes and... well, pretty much everything. The grade goes up with the Darknest levels. Level 1 nests give you common up through level 5 nests giving you legendary. Theoretically, the higher the essence, the better the loot. I say theoretically because sometimes you cook an epic one for 12 hours and still get something useless to you and other times you do a common one and get something you need

Army Capacity vs Army Size vs Army Limit

What is the difference between Army Capacity, Army Size, and Army Limit? They all sound kind of similar, but what do they actually mean and how do you increase them? Army Capacity Army Capacity is the amount of resources a troop can carry. You can increase it with talents, research, and gear. This statistic is only about carrying resources, but it is applicable for all situations where you would carry them. So if you're gathering from a tile or raiding a castle, increasing this number will mean you can use less troops to carry the same amount of resources. Increasing Army Capacity Army Size Army Size is the number of soldiers you can add to your army. The number of troops you can send is determined by your castle level, plus the command of any heroes sent with that army. You can increase this with Castle Level and Hero Rank. You can also temporarily boost it by using a Max Army Size Turf Boost. Army Limit Army Limit is the number of different grou
