T's Top Tips

T's Top Tips
Here are the top few things I wish I knew when I first started playing. If I could go back in time (and chose to use that amazing gift to be better at Lords Mobile?), this is what I'd tell me:

⋆ General Priorities
• Research is more important than buildings and troop quantity - only use speed ups on research
• Military research and monster research are more important than economy research and defense research
• ATK/Offense is more important than health is more important than defense - this is true for research, talents, and gear

⋆ Use Troop Counters
Infantry targets Ranged targets Cavalry targets Infantry

⋆ Join a Guild, Do Events, & HUNT
If you're not in a guild, you're going to miss out on lots of good stuff. Like Guild Events and hunting!

Guild Fest is the bread and butter of rewards. It's the most rewards and best quality rewards for a F2P player, but everyone can use the loot. Guild Fest can seem intimidating and impossible, but it honestly isn't. There are MANY quests that EVERYONE can do regards less of the size of their wallet or army. A few quick examples? Helps, VIP boxes, and collecting essence require no preparation or cash. Supply tasks can be accomplished at minimal cost by passing the same load of resources back and forth with someone in your guild - it will cost you the tax, but it's not as daunting as the entire amount. Admin and Guild Quest tasks are super easy IF you save your scrolls. Same with spending gems. Save all your gems and only buy things during Guild Fest while doing the spend gem quest. Save your guild coins and only spend them during Guild Fest while doing the spend guild coins quest. There is no reason to not participate in this guild event. So DO IT!

And most importantly Monster Hunting. Hunting is where you're going to get most of your resources, speed ups, gems, materials - everything. Hunt often! Stick to level 1s until you can kill a level 2 in 4 hits or less. Only kill 3s and up for a very specific reason - finishing a Hell Event for example. Yes, you get flashier loot during the hunt for the bigger monsters, but it is best for the guild and therefor yourself to only hunt 1s. It is the most economical use of energy and yields the best cumulative loot for the guild. And make sure you are using the correct heroes for each monster!

⋆ Training Troops
• At first, you'll want to train evenly so that you can be prepared for all situations (like Darknests) and so that you're not an easy target to zero. Train a minimum of your march limit of each of the three main troop types so you can switch counters when needed.

• Only train 10%-20% of siege. Never train siege evenly. You don't need much.

• After you've got the above trained, pick a single troop type to focus on and just train those. Forge equipment, set your talents, and max your research to match that type. Then pick a second troop type to focus on. Infantry/Ranged and Ranged/Cavalry combos tend to be much stronger than an Infantry/Cavalry combo.

⋆ Gear and Jewels
Don't do much with these yet. You'll regret it one day if you use your materials and jewels without understanding them.

Only build gear you're going to keep forever. Start with research and construction gear. Build one of each piece from the Noceros and Gryphon sets under Event Equipment. Build 3 Lunar Flutes and 3 Sentinel's Circles. Upgrade them all as you are able. You will keep and use them forever.

Save war gear for when you're at a higher level or once you've got a better understanding of the troops and how war works. Especially if it uses materials from monsters. Rare monster materials are... well... rare. They are few and far between so you're going to want to use them on the piece that matters most - not the piece you can build/use right now.

Jewels are by far the most important boosters in the game; however, Chisels to remove jewels are very expensive. Be smart about what you inlay. Only inlay blue, purple, or gold jewels. 4 purples are better than 1 gold. Only inlay ATK and HP jewels for war - skip the pure defense jewels.

⋆ You Only Need ONE Farm
Your troops will not die if you don't feed them. You will never be able to maintain positive food production with even a modest amount of troops - so don't even try. Build ONE Farm to upgrade with the rest of your buildings. After you've built Academy Level 25, you don't even need that one anymore unless you're going to switch some of your existing Military buildings to Manors.

⋆ Spending Gems
• Priority #1 - building supplies to upgrade your Battle Hall, Prison, and Alter. Buy the 10,000 gem packs directly from the building when you're upgrading for the best price.

• It's never a good idea to use gems to speed up troop training. Troops die. Research is forever.

⋆ Spending Actual Money
It's easy to get sucked down the rabbit hole and start spending like a crazy person with this game. My only advice is that if you're going to do it, do it wisely.

The Castle Packs are a great value. They're offered for a limited time after you finish upgrading to castles 7, 11, 14, 19, 21, 23, and 25. In the mall, the Bursting with Riches, Gem Packed, Sweet Deal, Material Madness, and Crown Jewel packs are all generally worth it.

If you're going to invest in a paid hero, the most economical way to do it is to purchase just the least expensive pack each time it comes around in the mall. I'd suggest focusing on one or two heros to start. Look at what they do and not just the cool photographs. There are three that give you all three Army Battle Skill boosts - Berserker, Lore Weaver, and Songstress of the Sea. They're a great place to start.

  2. I actually have this app called 'google rewards' and there you can get google play money that you can actually spend. You earn it by answering surveys. They're usually very short, and it's great. You don't even have to couple your credit card or something to it.

Darknest Rallies

T's Ultimate Darknest Rally Guide Victory over a Darknest isn't just about how many troops you send at it. It's about which troops and why. Sure, you might be able to beat it by just throwing a ton of troops at it, but you'll end up with more wounded than necessary. Why Do Darknest Rallies? It's basically free loot. Random, but you don't need to do much for it other than hold the rally correctly and heal some troops. Troops sent to a Darknest will never die unless you don't have room in your Infirmary. There are 5 grades of essence just like gear and heroes and... well, pretty much everything. The grade goes up with the Darknest levels. Level 1 nests give you common up through level 5 nests giving you legendary. Theoretically, the higher the essence, the better the loot. I say theoretically because sometimes you cook an epic one for 12 hours and still get something useless to you and other times you do a common one and get something you need

Heros: Types, Grades, Levels, & Ranks

There are four different types of characteristics that are important determining factors of various aspects of a hero. - Attribute type determines which basic attribute increases ATK. - Grade determines the boost percentage of the Battle Skills. - Level determines the amounts for the Hero Skill bonuses and the ability to equip Trophies. - Rank unlocks Battle and Hero Skills and Trophies affect the hero's statistics. For monster hunting, hero stages, and the Colosseum, heroes with a higher level and rank tend to be more important than heroes with a higher grade. Grade does also add to their statistics, so a higher grade is better than a lower grade, but in general, grade is not a huge factor for anything but their Battle Skill %. The opposite is also true. If you're looking at Battle Skills, a hero with a higher grade will be more effective than a hero at a higher level or rank. Rank does increase command, which will ultimately give you more troops and a hero with
