What is the Difference Between a "Regular" Paid Hero and a "Special" Paid Hero?
"Regular" Paid Heros are in the mall and can be hired with a purchase as low as $5. The "Special" Paid Heros are Dark Magister, Shape Shifter, and Lightweaver. Why are they "Special"? A few reasons. Their grades have a higher boost percentage. They are unique because they have Battle Skills for more than one troop type. But they are also "Special" because it is $99 for 3 medals. So basically $400 just to hire one and $11,000 to get one to gold. If you've got a spare $33,000, let me know. I'll send you my PayPal info.

Who are the Event Heros?
• Watcher - Infantry: He's got good battle skills, but he's very difficult to get and to upgrade (change colors). You get him by completing Hell Events. Sometimes. When his medals are offered as prizes for completing the third stage of a Hell Event is completely random. Research Hell Events are the best in my opinion because it's "easy" to finish a big research and complete the 3rd stage if you time it right. Building Hell Events are hardly ever worth it. Training can be done if you've got the speeds and resources, but it takes a ton of troops. The monster ones? Maybe. But it's usually only 1 medal where building and research is 3.

• Chaos Dragon - Cavalry: Ditto Watcher except he's even more difficult because you usually only get 1 medal in Hell Events and need to complete the third stage of a 24hr challenge to get the 3 medals.

Darknest Rallies

T's Ultimate Darknest Rally Guide Victory over a Darknest isn't just about how many troops you send at it. It's about which troops and why. Sure, you might be able to beat it by just throwing a ton of troops at it, but you'll end up with more wounded than necessary. Why Do Darknest Rallies? It's basically free loot. Random, but you don't need to do much for it other than hold the rally correctly and heal some troops. Troops sent to a Darknest will never die unless you don't have room in your Infirmary. There are 5 grades of essence just like gear and heroes and... well, pretty much everything. The grade goes up with the Darknest levels. Level 1 nests give you common up through level 5 nests giving you legendary. Theoretically, the higher the essence, the better the loot. I say theoretically because sometimes you cook an epic one for 12 hours and still get something useless to you and other times you do a common one and get something you need

Heros: Types, Grades, Levels, & Ranks

There are four different types of characteristics that are important determining factors of various aspects of a hero. - Attribute type determines which basic attribute increases ATK. - Grade determines the boost percentage of the Battle Skills. - Level determines the amounts for the Hero Skill bonuses and the ability to equip Trophies. - Rank unlocks Battle and Hero Skills and Trophies affect the hero's statistics. For monster hunting, hero stages, and the Colosseum, heroes with a higher level and rank tend to be more important than heroes with a higher grade. Grade does also add to their statistics, so a higher grade is better than a lower grade, but in general, grade is not a huge factor for anything but their Battle Skill %. The opposite is also true. If you're looking at Battle Skills, a hero with a higher grade will be more effective than a hero at a higher level or rank. Rank does increase command, which will ultimately give you more troops and a hero with

Can I Take This Hit?

Can I Take This Hit? Alright, let's do the math. I loathe maths, so you're lucky I like you guys. The ratio for troops is: 1 T4 = 1.5 T3s 1 T4 = 2.25 T2s 1 T4 = 4.5 T1s 1 T3 = 1.5 T2s 1 T3 = 3 T1s 1 T2 = 2 T1s Now that's the base troop. No research, no talents, no nothing. Without an army boost scroll the max a 25 castle can send is 250k. Castle max of 200k plus 5 Rank 8 heros at 10k each. With a 50% scroll, it's 375k. Eating a Rally Level 25 Battle Hall holds 2m plus the leader's troops. So, let's pretend the leader popped a scroll and they actually fill it. Also pretend they fill it with T4s. That's 2,375,000 troops. If every single one of them is a T4, you'll need a minimum of: 2,375,000 T4s or 3,562,500 T3s or 5,343,750 T2s or 10,687,500 T1s Now that doesn't include the leader's research, talents, gear, any ATK boost scrolls, 10% Army ATK from having a 25 Battle Hall, prisoners, alter boosts, or any titles. You'
